B. 1989, Tbilisi, Georgia Papuna Chivadze lives and works in Georgia. In 2013 graduated in a B.A. in History, theory and Restoration of Art, from the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts. At the same time, he finished a non-formal course at the Tbilisi Contemporary Art Center, Moving Image/Video Art. Since then he has participated in several group exhibitions. He works in video and photo media. In addition, Papuna studies Images in context of analytic philosophy and aesthetics, works as translator in three languages and is interested in relations between political ideologies and images. Overall, Papuna’s work reflects on intersections of external and internal spaces, and tries to represent them comprehensively.
