Sophia Tabatadze
B. 1977 in Tbilisi, Georgia Sophia Tabatadze lives and works in Berlin and Tbilisi.
Sophia works in installation, video, graphic arts. She graduated Nikoladze Art School in Tbilisi and Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam, Holland, she participated in the exchange program of the School of Visual Arts, New York, USA.
Sophia participated in many exhibitions and projects, such as: Project Rotterdam, Boymans Museum, Rotterdam, Holland, Humancon Undercon, Georgian Pavilion on 52nd Venice Biennale (Venice, Italy, 2007), Not Only Possible, But Also Necessary: Optimism in the Age of Global War (10th International Istanbul Biennal, Istanbul, Turkey, 2007).
