Each night broken into day is special and reveals to you the things you don’t pay attention to or can not perceive having had the full night’s sleep. “Tbilisi, 6:15AM” was created with an old camcorder. While working on a new georgian font, I used to take breaks and look outside a window. On a rainy morning, forms and details of a living block which was no more than a part of a daily view before, were embellished with completely new qualities for my “sleep deprived” mind. There are lots of such invisible details in the gray city of Tbilisi which is full of these kinds of living blocks. The creation of men mixed with nature and a sleepless night, one can see beauty in all sorts of things, depending on how one’s mind decides to look at it.
