B. 1996 Tbilisi, Georgia, Mishiko Sulakauri lives and works in Georgia. He has an interdisciplinary base and utilizes a wide spectrum of artistic practices. As a socially motivated artist based in Tbilisi, his work addresses local urban issues affecting his beloved city, including unregulated gentrification, abandoned spaces and their owners and governmental indifference to environmental protection and air pollution. Tbilisi is full of his visual signs. On wall surfaces, they transform into concepts and meanings, making the buildings themselves into symbolic landmarks.
